Work Experience and Student Placements

The North Queensland Land Council (NQLC) has a keen interest in offering work experience and placements for students. We acknowledge that the skills required in our sector lead to rewarding careers. As such, NQLC is particularly focused on providing opportunities for tertiary students, aligning with our mission to develop local capacity for the native title sector. We encourage Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students to apply.

Moreover, NQLC is actively seeking collaborations with tertiary institutions to facilitate placements or work experiences for students enrolled in industry-relevant courses such as native title law and anthropology. We also welcome students studying community development, business, commerce, and accounting.

If your organisation or institution is interested in establishing a partnership, or if you are a student interested in exploring placement opportunities with NQLC, please feel free to contact our office via email at cservices@nqlc.com.au.
