THIS MEETING IS FOR ALL DJABUGAY NATION PEOPLE COMPRISING THE DJABUGAY, BULWAY, YIRRGANYDJI, NYAKALI AND GULUY PEOPLES, TOGETHER WITH ANY OTHER PERSON WHO ASSERTS THEY HOLD OR MAY HOLD NATIVE TITLE RIGHTS AND INTERESTS IN THE ILUA AREA.

THE PURPOSE OF THE AUTHORISATION MEETING IS TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:

Conmat Pty Ltd Tinaroo Quarry ILUA: the proposed ILUA between the Applicant on their own behalf and on behalf of the Djabugay Nation Claim (QUD 692/2016),  Conmat Pty Ltd and the State of Queensland are to consider consenting to the grant, renewal, variation or issue of a Replacement Sales Permit to allow Conmat to operate the quarry, to the extent that they are Future Acts and consent to the validation of the issue of the Sales Permit, that was issued after 1 December 2022 in relation to the Agreement Area and prior to Registration of the ILUA, to the extent the issue of the Sales Permit is a Future Act  done invalidly for the purposes of Native Title.
