DIRECTOR VACANCY – TULLY WARD

North Queensland Land Council Native Title Representative Body Aboriginal Corporation has a vacancy for a director for the Tully Ward.

This notice is calling for expressions of interest from registered Members to fill the current vacancy on the board. The term of the position – up until AGM November 2025.

  • It is the applicants obligation to check that they are a member as defined in chapter 8 of the NQLC Rulebook.
  • Only applications received from members registered in the ward where the vacancy exists will be considered.
  • The applicant must understand the roles and responsibilities of directors as contained in Chapter 6 of the CATSI Act 2006 and the duties of the board as outlined in Chapter 15 of the NQLC Rulebook.
  •  Applicants must supply any and all relevant information that may be help the board to make a decision (to performing the duties as a director – skills, knowledge, abilities etc).
  • Applicants must supply a Directors Identification Number.

Applications must be received no later than COB 10th June 2024.

Applications received after the closing date will not be considered. A failure to fill the vacant position on the board by this EOI process will result in the board making a selection from the member list (from the ward affected).
